Afterpay it! Shop Online and Pay Over Time

A Little Bit of Cheek launched back in 2009, so we have seen many things come and go over the years. But we have our fingers and toes crossed that Afterpay is here to stay!

We know only too well what its like when you see something you really want, only to realise you don’t get paid until next week. In the past you would have put the item or items on layby and paid them off whilst the store held on to those items until you had paid in full.

Well not anymore!

We have partnered up with Afterpay to offer you a simple payment option where by you can have the items now and you then pay them off in four equal instalments.

There is no interest or added fees and it is available to Australian Residents over 18 years of age.

Best of all it is available now on our website. During checkout, at the payment screen you will be able to choose Afterpay as your payment option, once approved, your order will be on it’s way to you.

Seriously, does it get any better.

Shop online today at online kids store A Little Bit of Cheek.

A Fresh New Look

We have had a makeover! It’s been a few years since our last makeover so we felt it was time to change things up a bit. Our website doesn’t just look a little bit difference, but we have added some cool new features to make things easier for you to shop online. Best of all A Little Bit of Cheek is now secure site wide. This means you can shop with confidence that we will protect your personal information. Just look for the closed padlock in your address bar. In fact, no matter where you shop online, this is something important to look out for.

Our checkout is clean and simple to use with various payment options available including Credit Card, PayPal and ZipPay.

Having been online for over 7 years, you can shop with confidence at online kids store A Little Bit of Cheek.

Buy Now, Pay Later With ZipPay

zipPay5

Now this is exciting!

Just as brands are releasing their new summer and winter ranges, we have teamed up with ZipPay to offer you a more flexible way to buy the items you want now, but pay them off. Just add the items you want to the cart and click Pay Later With ZipPay. First timers will have to sign up for an account, but once you have, you wont need to do this again. You are then given the option of how you would like to split your payments up into either weekly or monthly. The best bit is your purchases are posted straight away! No more waiting until you have paid in full like traditional laybys.

So what are you waiting for? You could be shopping up a storm right now!

Bowel Cancer Awareness Month

I am contacted a few times a week asking for donations for auctions that people are holding to raise awareness and money for various causes.  The unfortunate thing is that i can’t support them all.

Like everyone, i have my chosen charities that i regularly support.  Not because i think they are any better than another charity, but because they hit a personal cord with me.

Some of you may have seen my facebook post back in September of last year, some of you may not have.  It was about my dad having lost his battle with bowel cancer.  He was just short of turning 64 years old, which in my eyes is far to young!  The problem with dad was that he was too busy enjoying life to follow up any health issues he had going on.  So by the time he was diagnosed with bowel cancer it had already spread.

From dads first diagnosis he lived for 9 months.  Don’t get me wrong, i am extremely grateful for the time we did have.  I got to tell dad how much i loved him, but it is never enough.  I miss him every day and i feel totally ripped off!

The point i am trying to make is that because i lost my dad to bowel cancer, i feel passionate about supporting Bowel Cancer Australia.  This month is Bowel Cancer Awareness month. They are not asking for donations (but don’t let that stop you), they just want everyone to talk about it.

Did you know 77 Australians a week die from Bowel Cancer?

But if detected early, bowel cancer is one of the most curable cancers.

So all i am asking you to do is spread the word about bowel cancer by talking to your friends and family.  If you would like any more information about symptoms, bowel cancer screening kits etc, visit Bowel Cancer Australia.

Early detection can save your life. Awareness is vital to your survival.

I got this tattoo in memory of my dad ♥♥♥

I have Mondayitis – Guest blogger Mumtrosity

Firstly, thank you to Raegan for allowing me to pimp myself on her blog. *Thanks!*

My name is Liz, I am a Mother of 3 young kidlets aged 2,4 & 5.
When I’m not changing nappies, feeding mouths and avoiding 50 baskets of dirty laundry, you can usually find me on Twitter, Facebook or writing on my Blog at Mumstrosity.com.

Mumstrosity.com is not only the home of my personal blog, but also features a collection of ‘real life’ stories from myself and other Mums (Dads welcome too) about times when parenting hasn’t gone the way it ought to; Times when we’ve screwed up.
It’s about sharing our experiences to know that it’s ok to not be perfect. I welcome you to share your stories too.
This year saw the first Aussie Bloggers Conference in Sydney, and I was lucky enough to have A Little Bit of Cheek put their hand up to Sponsor me, and ultimately help me get there.

It was a great experience to be able to meet all the women (and a handful of men) that I have been following the lives of, and socialising with through blogging. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for next year!

Being a web addicted soul, I love shopping online, and what I like best about A Little Bit of Cheek is the unique range that you won’t find in any local department store.

Here are my top 3 picks from A Little Bit of Cheek this month:

1. Micro Me Army Shorts $39.95

2. Two Belles Owl Velour Jacket $38.00

3. Two Belles Hearts Jarmeez $18.00

Shameless…. I know!

Circle of Mums is looking for the top 25 kids style blogs and i am happy to admit i put my hand up LOL!

Along side such an awesome bunch of kids style bloggers like Kids Style File, Babyology, Li’l Magoolie and Style Milk just to name a few.  It’s all just a bit of fun 😉

The bonus is i have found some new blogs to follow like Boys be Cool!

So now here is the shameless bit….. if you have a spare 30 seconds please jump on and give us the thumbs up and while your there check some of the other blogs.  Your sure to find something you will love!

A must have iphone application!

So a few weeks ago i was playing around on facebook when i came across a page called Little Crew App.  It had a cute red bird as the profile picture and the description said ‘the luxe guide to children’s shopping’.  I was intrigued and had to find out what this was all about.  So after reading through a heap of posts on facebook i decided to check out the website.

Talk about cool!

I was super excited to find that Little Crew was in fact an iphone application where parents, grandparents and anyone that ever needs to buy for kids can go to find all the beautiful children’s boutiques.   The beauty of this is because it’s an iphone application you can read it whenever you have a spare minute, perhaps on the bus on the way home from work.

The women behind this great application is Peta, mother to 3 kids.  She knows first-hand the benefits of shopping online and wanted to provide an honest review of products that she and her three children had road tested.

A Little Bit of Cheek is very excited to have been reviewed recently by Little Crew and you can read what they had to say about our exclusive range of jewellery and hair accessories from Oscar Blue here.

So if you haven’t already, i suggest you download this application today….. Especially since it is free for a limited time.
